  • Send the word "Start" via SMS to short code 121. You will receive an SMS response SMS NIN1******* to 121.
  • You now reply NIN with your 11 digit number like this "NIN XXXXXXXXXXXX" via SMS to shortcode 121 and press SEND.
  • You will be informed once your NIN has been validated/Updated.
