1. MTN share'n sell allow you transfer airtime from your account to any other MTNcustomer'saccountusing a simple SMS command and security PIN. The credit will be deducted from your account balance, and added to the receiver's account.

 

Your default security PIN is 0000 and to use the service you must change this to a 4digits personal PIN

for security reason. You can then transfer between NGN50+NGN6000. 

Note: to confirm the transfer, you will need to text yes to 777 within minutes of your transfer request. 

 

2. MTN caller tunez 

 MTN callerTunez allows you personalize your ring back tones from the default "tring-tring" to any music of your choice.

You can set unique MTN callerTunez for different numbers or you can create calling groups and then set different MTN callerTunez for them you can' set up to 20 calling groups.

To subscribe to MTN callerTunez, do any of the following;

•   Dial *123# 

•   Dial 4100 and follow the voice prompt

MTN Simple surf

MTN Simple surf-Hourly Internet plans specially designed for use with your MTN fastlink modems, offers flexible hourly based inter bundle plans that allow you pay only for the time spent on the Internet and not the volume of data consumed.

MTNData settings

To activate MTNdata settings manually: 

• Text SETTINGS TO 3888 for free

•  Save the settings sent to you via SMS

•   Click on your browser and you're online

4.  MTNkeep my number

MTN keep my Number is a special service that allows you to retain your number for 365 days in the event that you travel out of the country or stay inactive dormant for more than 180days.

WithMTN keep my number:

•   your MTN number will not be disconnected or recycled during mass disconnection and recycling of numbers.

•   you save yourself the cost of reprinting business cards and updating websites when your number gets disconnected and recycled.

•   you will have your number reserved for 1 year irrespective of how long you stay out of the country.

• To subscribe for the service simply:  Dial *365*1# or send KMN to 36500

•   Once you subscribe for the service a subscription fee of NGN500 will be deducted from your account.

•   At soon as MTN confirm your payment, your number will be kept in keep my number list. So whenever MTN conducts mass disconnection and recycling of numbers, your number will be excluded from the list.

Your number will then be kept in the keep my Number list for 365days.

You will be able to opt of the service by dialing *365*2#

Lost your Sim? Welcome Back is easy!

If you lose your MTN SiM you can easily recover it via our welcome Back pack. Simply:

Visit the nearest MTN Walk-In centre or connect store.

You will need to provide an authentic form of identification such as Driver's license, National ID card e.t.c to process your SIM swap.

6. MTN SIM Registration

MTN SIM Registration is a regulatory requirement that will enable MTN link scary SIM card to the identify of the actual owner.

To register your MTN card, simply:

•   Fill a form

Terms & Conditions

If you do not connect your SIM card to the Network within three hundred and sixty five (365) days of the manufacture date, and/or do not use it on the MTN Network for a period of ninety (90) consecutive days MTN will be entitled to cancel this MSiSDN number and deactivate your SIM card , in which case you will be obligated to purchase a new SIM card with a new MSISDN number should you wish to continue to access the network services, MTN reserves the right to change the peroid within which to connect your SIM card to the Network, and this shall be at MTN sole discretion.

Customer data journey

At the point of data bundle activation, a notification will be sent to a customers like the example below:

"You will receive a menu shortly, select ONE-OFF to cancel the bundle renewal or recurrent for auto-renewal to complete your transaction"

after which they get a pop up;

"Thank you for subscribing to  (50MB)

1.  Day data plan, press:
2.  One-off purchase
3.  Recurrent purchase"

If the customer replies with "1" 

-this means that the purchase will be activated once i.e there will be no auto-renewal for that plan. After replying, the customer gets a confirmation of successful activation. here is an example of the message below;

"Your 50MB Daily plan will expire on 01/01/2021

09:50:43 dial *131*1# to buy a new data bundle, *606# to borrow data or *131*200# to browse @ N3/MB" 

If the customer replies with "2" - this means that the customer has agreed to be auto-renewed upon expired. The data bundle purchase will continue to auto-renew until the customer decided to opt out of auto-renewal.

After replying, the customer will get a confirmation of successful activation. Here is an example of the message below;

"Activation of 50MB daily plan was Successful. renews on 01/01/2021 12:58:00.

• To stop renewal,

• Text NO104 to 131,

• Text 2 to 131 for balance"
