Customer data journey
At the point of data bundle activation, a notification will be sent to a customers like the example below:
"You will receive a menu shortly, select ONE-OFF to cancel the bundle renewal or recurrent for auto-renewal to complete your transaction"
after which they get a pop up;
"Thank you for subscribing to [] 50MB []
1-Day data plan, press:
1. One-off purchase
2. Recurrent purchase"
If the customer replies with "1"
-this means that the purchase will be activated once i.e there will be no auto-renewal for that plan. After replying, the customer gets a confirmation of successful activation. here is an example of the message below;
"Your 50MB Daily plan will expire on 01/01/2021
09:50:43 dial *131*1# to buy a new data bundle, *606# to borrow data or *131*200# to browse @ N3/MB"
If the customer replies with "2" - this means that the customer has agreed to be auto-renewed upon expired. The data bundle purchase will continue to auto-renew until the customer decided to opt out of auto-renewal.
After replying, the customer will get a confirmation of successful activation. Here is an example of the message below;
"Activation of 50MB daily plan was Successful. renews on 01/01/2021 12:58:00.
To stop renewal,
Text NO104 to 131,
Text 2 to 131 for balance"
