Question: what do I b'need for a SIM replacement/swarp/welcome back?

Answer:    in line with the new Nigerian communication commision (NCC) guideline on Sim replacement, your are required to provide the following document.

In addition  to a valid means of identification the Sim pack or other evidence of direct purchase/ownership of the Sim, where this is unavailable, an affidavit arresting to the owner ship and lost of the Sim must be provided, please also note that any of the under-listed, means of the identification remains a compulsory requirement for Sim replacement:

• Nigerian national ID card 

• Nigerian Driver's license

• permanent Voter's card (PVC)

• international passport

• Letter of authentic by a traditional ruler, community leader, appixed passport photograph 

• affidavit and declaration sworn under oath starting that the declarant doesn't have an identity card.

Please note that the following caveats: 

• the photo Image on the means of identification must be vary visible and easily recognizable when compared to the person representing it 

• for foreigners, only your international passport is acceptable for this process

.

Question: How do I secure my Sim card?

 

Answer: The Sim card is a unique microchip which is the key to Glo mobile services and can also store your contact's names and phone numbers.

•  The PIN code of the SIM card is your 4digit security code that ensure that only you have access to your Glo mobile prepaid account.

• The PUK code (PIN Unblocking Key) is Your unique 8-digit unblocking code only used if you have entered the wrong PIN code more than three times

•  All information about PIN and PUK numbers are on your SIM card and represents proof of ownership, don't misplace it at anytime.

Question: How to Change my PIN

Answer: To change the default PIN go to the "security" menu of your mobile phone.

•  Go into the sub menu 'Enable PIN'

•  Enter the default PIN: '0000'.

• Enter your 4-digit PIN code. Your new PIN code should be a number which is easy to remember. It must be kept confidential.

       The woman known only as Xiaoli, from Shenzhen in china, managed to raise around £14.000 (about N63 million) by convincing her boyfriends, all 20 of them, to each buy her an iphone 7.

     She then sold The phones via the website Hul shou Nao and made 115,010 chine yuan (about N315,000) which she then used to buy a house in the countryside. Some people criticised her and called her 'shameless' but most praised her for her ingenuity.

     Sharing Xiali's story on a blogging forum, a user called proud Qiaoba, said: Everyone in the office is talking this now.

        'Who knows what her boyfriends think now this news has become public.' According to proud Qiaoba, who appears to work with Xialoli, the woman is not from a wealthy family and her 'mum is a housewife and her dad is a migrant worker, and she is the oldest daughter.' 

        Her parents are getting old and she might be under a lot pressure hoping to buy them a house... But it's still unbelievable that she could use this method!'

     The woman allegedly sold the 20 iPhone 7s to the website for around £700 each, which Hui Shou Bao confirmed to the BBC. 

      The story was widely shared on the Chinese social network weibo, where more than 13milion comments were posted using the hashtag "20 mobiles for a house'. 

    Some people criticised her and called her 'shameless' but most praised her for her ingenuity.

     One woman wrote: 'I can't even find one boyfriend. She can actually find 20 boyfriends at the same time and get them to buy her an iphone 7, just want to ask her to teach me such skills.'
